A Very Late August Favourites

April 2016 Favourites

Hello! and welcome to a new month; the end of the month means monthly favourites time.  I hope the month of April has been very good to you?  I know I am late again and I should be use to this right now as always i find it very hard to shorten my monthly favz. Here’s a list of my mostly used products for this month.
I cannot stop loving this foundation; it is just perfect for my oily/combination skin. I have shade 12 and 13 because I am in between shades all year round. I would highly recommend it to all my oily sisters out there.
I finally hacked the beauty blender people and all in time for summer. I have been wanting to know how to use this makeup tool kit essential for ages and I finally mastered it :-). After using the blender my makeup looks so seamless… it’s one of my favourite tool to use nowadays. Anyone else happy for me!
Magnitone Lucid Cleansing Brush (also raved about here, here and here)
This little tool is another I cannot stop loving. I love how great my skin feels after use. My face has never felt so clean, smooth, pimples free and radiant since I started using this little beauty. I can definitely feel a difference if when i don’t use it. Another recommendation from me to you. It’s definitely worth you incorporating this as apart of your daily skincare regime.
This is yet another product I have really loved using with my Magnitone to cleanse my face daily and  I am still loving the effects. Plus, it’s perfect for oily/combination skin.
Another product repeat is my current fav highlighter So Susan Light Diffuser. This is super pigmented, easy to use and it lasts for ages, at £14 for the full size, its money well spent because of how gorge your face will look after use. I got mine from my monthly Glossybox
The final product love for this month is my Lucy Bee Fair Trade Extra Virgin Organic Coconut Oil
I use this on my scalp to help reduce dryness and also use it on my hair to help nourish the hair. I have been using this for a while now and my hair looks more manageable, less frizzy when used. This oil literately melts on your fingers within seconds and it smells very coco-nutty and it’s fair trade.

Monthly Favourites| March 2016 Loving

Hello there and welcome. I hope you have been good. It’s that time of the month again were I share with you some of the products I have loved using this month. Although I love using many products, I just wanted to share with you products I have been surprised with the results when used.

For this month I have really loved using oils. As we are in transition to spring, I was looking for something that’s very moisturising, lasting and not too greasy. For my overall body, I have been using the Elizabeth Arden 8hr All Over Miracle oil; this oil is super easy to use,it’s easily absorbed once applied and is very moisturising. If you loved using the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream then this is yet another product you should definitely try…your skin will thank you for it. I will be doing a more in depth review shortly so watch the space for more details.

I have also been loved using these three mini testers I received from my monthly subscription boxes. Hey Honey Facial Serum, Olay and L’Occitane Shea Face Comforting Oil, these oils have been my face dream team this month and they all smell great.

One more oil I have just recently discovered is the Creme of Nature Argan Oil Treatment; this oil smells so amazing, my hair loves it and my hair feels super soft after use. It’s my miracle oil in a bottle
The last and final product I have really loved using this month is my ever favourite Makeup Revolution Baked Blush. Now that Spring is upon us, I am daring to bring out the colour…I  spoken about the blush here and here.

What have you been loving this month?

February 2016 Favz

Hello and welcome to another exciting monthly favourites post. I am super happy to have you here. I always find it very hard to do cut the list down to size at least down enough to be interesting ….. I managed to whittle the list down to these four things I haven’t and can’t stopping singing praises for.

The first thing is a book by Paula Hawkins called The Girl On The Train.….you must have heard of by now. It’s one of the most talked about books of 2015. I managed to finally get my hands on one and I absolutely loved reading. I couldn’t put it down until I had finished it. I was going to bed thinking and dreaming about what’s going to happen next. And now there’s going to a movie and Emily Blunt is going to play Rachel Watson and I cannot wait to see the movie. It’s like Harry Potter all over again – reading the books and watching the movie. If you haven’t read this book I would highly recommend you pick up a copy now it’s a page turner.

The next item I have been loving is the Vagisil Prohydrate Intimate Wash.. as ladies we should always make sure we’re all squeaky clean down there and this wash does it. I have used others in the past that I haven’t really loved the after effect; this wash is really easy to use, is very great to use, it is also very affordable and available almost everywhere. I would highly recommend you try getting an intimate wash to help keep the little honey pot clean and healthy.

The last two things I have been loving this month is the Magnitone Facial Cleansing Brush and the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Cleansing Gel. I talked about these two in my last monthly favourites post (here). I am still pretty happy with the feeling I get when I use these two products together. Please let me know if you would like to see a my new skincare regime I can either do a post or a YouTube video. Please let me know what else you’ll like to see in the comments section below.

2016 First Monthly Favourites

Hello and welcome to another awesome first monthly favourites post of 2016 (this month has really flown by). I do hope you are having a great day wherever you are today. Please scroll down for my thoughts on some of the products I have loved using during the month of January.

For this month because the weather has been very unpredictable, I found myself using a lot more skincare (face care) products. I felt that my face needs that extra boost.
I really fell in love with my Magnitone Facial Cleansing Brush again and I have really loved how my skin felt after using it.  Although I do also love using my FOREO Luna mini this month I have been attached to the Magnitone cleansing brush and my face just doesn’t feel clean or right just using the daily cleanser I have to use both together for my face to feel squeaky clean.
On my recent visit to boots I picked up the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Cleansing Gel. This cleanser has completely changed my skincare cleansing routine lately. This product and the Magnitone Cleansing Brush……..the perfect combination.
I have also loved using the my little beauty box night cream again this is another must have on my updated skin care need list. It leaves my skin nourished and gives it all it needs during the night.
The other two products I have also loved this month are the Caudelie products I talked about (here).  I usually use the My Little Beauty’s Midnight Cream after I have sprayed some Caudelie Beauty Elixir and applied Caudelie Vinoperfect (a light serum) I use daily to help reduce my dark spots and it also helps to brighten the complexion; I use these two Caudelie products both at night and in the mornings I use them before I apply Talika Photo-Hydra Day moisturiser I wrote (here) about.
I also loved using the Shea Moisture Curl & Style Milk. It smells great, gives my hair some much need lift. My hair feels really soft, easy to manage after use.
The last but not least favourite this month is my to go foundation Lancôme’s Teint Idole Ultra 24H. I love, love this foundation… it just works with my skin and I can’t say enough about it.  Click here for my previous post on my to go foundation for oily skin.

December Favourites

Hello there and welcome! I can’t believe we’re already in 2016 and I do hope you are as optimistic and excited for this year as I am.
The last two weeks of December was mostly at home chilling with la familia, stuffing my face or visiting friends and still stuffing my face (what can i say, I love food) Here’s a breakdown of of my December favourites.
Freedom Makeup  London Pro Eyebrow Kit Medium- DarkLink
I purchased this a while back when I had full thick brow and I didn’t feel I needed to use this until, after a recent visit to the salon where my brows were over plucked-this kit has really upped my brow game lately….it is very easy to use, very pigmented (a little goes a long way) and it lasts for ages.
The second thing on the list is my Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream (Link) I have so much love for this product right now because it saved my lips this winter and is still protecting these lips. Nothing but soft moisturised lips all winter long.
I have also loved using my Mac Face & Body Foundation (Link) mixing it with Lancôme’s Teint Idole Ultra 24H Foundation (Link)-I love the coverage and shade mixing these two gives me. Personally, I find it very hard to get the perfect foundation shade so I tend to always mix two foundation, I usually mix two shades of the same brand but now i have started mixing two different brands(mixing two foundations is the only way forward).
The final product fav for December will have to be MUA’s Matte Black Eyeliner (Link)-this is a great liner; it dries to a matte finish (not eye pulling matte finish) it’s very very pigmented and not transferable at all, very easy to use and at only £3 it is a bargain.

October Loving

For this month’s loving my lovelies, I am been obsessed with two US tv shows and a UK period drama and I am super stoked to share these with you and I hope you like them as much as I am.

The highly anticipated Scream Queens finally lands in the UK and I couldn’t be happier. All the characters so far are so likeable and it looks extremely funny. Emma Roberts is just my absolute favourite cast member, she takes being mean to a whole new level. If you liked Mean Girls the movie then you’ll definitely love this. And the outfits are just simply amazing- I cannot wait to see what happens next; am totally hooked! Scream Queens Mondays 9pm on E4—>click here
The second show I have been loving this month is….drum roll please….The Walking Dead. Thanks to Amazon Video, I can watch the much talked about tv show. There are so many kick ass characters and so many different storylines; because this show is hard to find on tv here in the UK, I have to try not to read spoilers out there as the show is currently on Season 6. I am trying not to say too much so I don’t spoil it for you guys- there was a love story in the show that reminded me of the Vampire Diaries love triangle between Stefan, Elena and Damon, have you spotted this yet? Or am I the only one who has spot this.
Finally, I have been super excited to see Season 6 of Downton Abbey. I am always very late to catch up to TV because i am more of a reader rather than a watcher of tv-I was introduced to Downton by my flatmate who is an avid tv watcher and I have loved watching it since then. I don’t want to say much to spoil it as well but I promise you if you watch this, it’s not as humourless as you may think; there are lots of comical moments, heartbreaks and plenty of lovable characters-there’s is never a dull moment in the entire seasons so far.
But I guess all god tv shows must come to and end- remember Friends, Lost, Prison Break, Heroes and many many more. So am super sad because Downton comes to end (tears up a little) and I hope that there might be a movie or maybe change their minds and not end it; even the Queen of England is apparently a fan so why end a show that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the II watches- but fingers crossed!!
What show(s) have you been hooked on this month?

September Favz

Hello and welcome you beautiful stranger. As another month comes to an end, it’s that time of the month… monthly favourite. I know i failed to do one last month, which i’m really gutted about but onwards and upwards from here on *brownie promise*. As you might probably know by now, I a very much skincare obsessed gal, so  for this month i have been rediscovering old beauty favs.
Here’s a whittle down of this month’s favs.
Let begin with a round up of some of my mostly used products for September.
This daily facial cleanser helps to gently buff away dead skin and leaves my skin looking brighter, fresh and radiant. I have been pairing this up with my Foreo Luna Mini. This dream team combination has really helped my skin and even with the cold weather my skin looks and feels more radiant and beautiful; i have been brave enough to go outside for shopping and seeing and meeting friends with no makeup.
This is a sample i received from my August mylittleboxuk; I have loved using it on both my natural hair and my weave. I have been using this since i opened it… it smells divine, helps to tame my frizzyfro and my sometimes untamely weave.
I did a mini review back in July and i must say that i’m still really impressed with this tool.I cannot stop singing praises for it. All i can say is get your hands on one, it’s a beauty tool worth having…. It easy to use, easy to clean and store, lightweight, inexpensive, durable and can be used in conjunction with other cleansers… click here to read my review…… Foreo have a new day/night cleansers that can be used with this tool…click here to check it out.
This was also a sample product i received from my July GlossyBox subscription box. I don’t have cellulite… i have stretch marks that only i can see lol cause no one else tends to notice these thing. So i have been using this on stretchy even though they are not made for use on it. I have been loving this, i can’t see major improvement yet but the cream smells great, its non greasy and my bum looks smoother…but maybe it’s all in my head.
This is yet another rediscovered favourite .. click here to read all. I have been loving this as part of my Autumn skincare regime. I love, love this product. It’s amazing. Its lightweight, easily absorbed, helps my skin feels and looks more alive. I have been using it with the Progenius Omega Treatment Oil, the perfect team.

July Favourites

Hello again! Yes, It’s that time of the month….July favourites, time to share my favourite products that I have been loving this month…Yet another month gone…I know it’s kinda early but soon the countdown to christmas begins. Oh oh, I said it, sorry anyway I hope you have had a great summer even with our unpredictable english weather. Let’s get to it.

Phillips Milk of Magnesia

This is by far one of the best makeup base for oily skin. As you may already know, I have very oily skin especially during the hot summer days… using this helps to minimise excessive oiliness and keeps my makeup in place for the whole day with minimal touch ups…. please be aware that with continual use this can make you breakout more. However, I have found that when I applied the tea tree water (here), it helped to keep my breakouts at bay.

Enzymion Facial Moisturiser

This is another product that is specifically concocted for oily / combination skin… please click here for a separate review here. I have had some good results using this cream as part of my skincare regime…. I really like the fact that this product helps to replenish moisture without the extra oiliness with a matte finish.

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder

I love this powder…. a lightweight powder with a matte finish to help keep my makeup in place…looks natural when i use it. Perfect to slide into the handbag or makeup bag and very wallet friendly at only £3.99 at Boots.

Avon Glow Bronzing Powder

I was at my parents house and this was part of the makeup, i had left behind to use when i visit…. I have been using this to add some warmth to my face after my makeup has been applied.

Foreo Luna Mini

I have really enjoyed using this product to clean my face…the perfect fit for my hands, tiny in size, big in results. Please watch the space for more detailed review on the results i got using this product.

I hope this has been helpful…I might do a review some on the shows and or films I have loved watching. So watch the space for more :-)

Hope you’ve had a lovely, relaxing weekend?

That’s all folks!!
